Frequently Asked Questions

Home / About Us / Frequently Asked Questions
Do you supply solutions outside of Africa?

Yes, we can, we have systems installed throughout Africa.

What are your areas of expertise?

Our areas of expertise are inkjets, labellers, Print & Apply systems, labelling systems, track and trace solutions, lasers, contact coding, large character printing, conveyors and custom automation.

What forms of printing/coding are available?

There are thermal inkjet, continuous inkjet, contact coding, large character printing, inline digital printing and security printing solutions available.

Can you supply FAT/SAT with your systems?

Yes, we can supply both FAT or SAT testing. The difference between FAT and SAT is:

  • A FAT or Factory Acceptance Test is usually performed at the vendor prior to shipping to a client. The vendor tests the system in accordance with the clients approved test plans and specifications to show that system is at a point to be installed and tested on site.
  • A SAT or Site Acceptance Test is where the system is tested in accordance with client approved test plans and specifications to confirm correct installation and make sure that it interfaces with other systems and peripherals in its working environment.
What are applications recommended for high-resolution coding?

Traditionally, high-resolution inkjet technology has been used for end-of-the-line packaging, to mark onto porous carton boxes directly as they pass on the production lines. Thanks to recent innovations in the inkjet industry, and our extensive experience in High-Resolution coding, our systems have been developed to respond to coding and marking needs across all industries.

What can be inline digitally printed?

High-resolution graphics, date and lot codes, sequential batch numbering, 2D matrix codes & QR codes, barcodes and variable product information
